The Personal Libraries

In addition to the general collection, the library preserves a significant number of library collections belonging to faculty members involved in the core disciplines of the Oriental School, founded in 1904. Some acquisitions of personal libraries, or portions thereof, have not been treated as separate collections, but were integrated into the general library collection. The owners of these collections are being identified in an effort to virtually "reconstruct" previously undocumented sections of the library (e.g. Fausto Lasinio, Lodovico Nocentini).
