The Library of the present-day Department of the Italian Institute of Oriental Studies (ISO) was founded in 1904, alongside the establishment of the Oriental School.
Since 2016, the library is at the Marco Polo building, located at Circonvallazione Tiburtina, 4.
This new location features:
- A spacious reading room with 169 seats
- H24 Sapienza study room, with extended hours until midnight and weekend access
